Angels with Filthy Souls is a fictional gangster film which exists within the Home Alone Universe, which was made specifically for the film. A sequel to this film called "Angels with Even Filthier Souls" appears in the Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. The main character of the film is called Johnny.
Kevin, after being left home alone by his family, finds a Video tape of "Angels with Filthy Souls" and is seen watching it while eating a huge bowl of ice cream. At first, Jonny and Snakes, a gangster sent by the head gangster, were arguing about money division when Snakes came and asked for money. Then Jonny said, "Too bad Acey ain't in charge no more!" and said he was upstairs taking a bath, informing Snakes that the head gangster was killed. Then, Jonny pulled out his rifle and said, "I'm gonna give you to the count of ten to get your ugly yella(yellow) kiester off my property, before I pop your guts full a' lead!" Then Snakes said, "Alright Jonny, I'm sorry. I'm going!" Though Jonny only counts to 3 (He counted "1, 2, 10!") and begins to shoot, killing the other gangster. Then, Jonny stared at the corpse and said, "Keep the change, ya filthy animal!" Kevin then paused the video and shouted for mom.
To thwart the burglars, Kevin plays the home video of Angels with Filthy Souls to trick them into thinking there are armed, dangerous adults in his house, using the same strategy he did with the pizza delivery guy to make sure that an adult was ordering the pizza. People who heard the video thought that a man was going to shoot, causing them to run away.
The title is likely a reference to the 1938 film Angels with Dirty Faces. There is also a sequel to the film, Angels with Even Filthier Souls, in this film's sequel, which aids Kevin as well.
